The Joint eGov and Open Data Innovation Lab (JIL) was founded by the State Government of Schleswig-Holstein, the University of Luebeck and MACH AG.
The JIL is a research and development laboratory as well as a consulting and training laboratory in which administration, business and science work together on innovative e-government solutions.
The JIL is a place for exchange, cooperation and collaboration.
In order to achieve useful results in practice, the JIL focuses on long-term cooperation and sustainable structures. As a “join-in movement”, the JIL follows an open, cooperative approach: Every public authority, every research institution and every company can contribute concrete projects or tasks and work on them in a trustful cooperation.
